Book Lovers BookTrade Policy Overview as of 6/07

• Book Lovers does NOT buy books for cash except on designated book buying days. However, we do give store credit which can be redeemed at a rate of half credit/half cash.  For example, to buy a $4.00 book, you can apply $2.00 in credit and must pay $2.00 in cash, plus tax.

• Credit is valid towards other used books only.  Credit is not valid toward collectibles, books with orange stickers, any new book and other types of merchandise (cards, gifts, bookmarks, audio books).

• Book lovers accepts gently used books in most genres. We do not accept Harlequin series books, book club editions, Reader's digest books and books in poor condition.  We do not accept smoke, water, children, pet and any other source of book mutilation damaged books.  Books must be in resalable condition.

• Book Lovers accepts text books, if and only if, they can be sold over the internet.  We do not carry text books in our store.

• Book Lovers typically gives 25% of the publisher's price in credit, which is more than most used bookstores.  This price may vary at store representative's discretion.

• Please do not bring more than two bags or small boxes of books at a time!

• Book Lovers does NOT buy audio-books for cash; however, we do give store credit.
• There are two credit redemption policies.

1. Any audio-book priced with a whole dollar amount; such as, 19-. 29-, 39-, etc., can pay with 30% store credit and must pay 70% cash.
2. Any audio-book with a price other than a whole dollar amount; such as, 9.99, 11.99, 12.99, etc., can pay with 50% store credit and must pay 50% cash. 

• Book Lovers only accepts audio-books that are complete and in original cases.

Book Lovers CD Trade Policy Overview as of 6/07

• Book Lovers does NOT buy CDs; however, we give store credit for them which can be redeemed at a rate of 50% store credit and must pay 50% cash.
• All of our single CDs are priced at $7.00.
• All double CDs are priced at $10.00
• Book Lovers typically gives $3.50 credit for each CD; however, store credit is always at the representatives discretion.
• All CDs must be unscratched and in original case.
