Changes are Slow but Working

 

Book Lovers has finally been able to bring quality workmanship to their store.  Having a lot of signings over the pass three months has brought notoriety and press to the store.  Book Lovers Bookstore made the top 10, by Reader's Today magazine, for used bookstores to visit on your summer vacation. Book Lovers has also seen themselves in the Sacramento Bee, on Sacramento & Company and live on KFBK 1530. Book Lovers has kept a strong relationship with their Sacramento customers and authors throughout the years and that shall continue for years to come.

 

Book Lovers has made a strong statement within the community, donating books and money to various causes such as SPCA, Desseret Industries, Sac State's literacy programs and much more.  Continued support for our surrounding community will continue to grow.

 

Keep hope alive as the strength of Book Lovers reaches new heights and will continue to grow within the near future reaching standards far exceeding everyone's expectations. The passion for books and being around them everyday keeps us striving to make the store better. 

 

The Sacramento area had been starving for a used book store with such high standards that Book Lovers delivers for many years. In 2003, Book Lovers' doors opened, bringing quality product and services to us book fanatics.  After the reins were handed over to Bradley and Audrey, the high standards have continued. 

 

What We're About

 

Here at Book Lovers, we strive to achieve complete five-star customer satisfaction.  We feel a true book lover should never go to bed alone, leaving us with the daunting task to deliver a quailty service to our customers, which will help us reach one of our many goals, nobody leaves without a book.  If everyone read a book once in a while, our community would be better, much better.

 

We have found that giving our customers a clean store, with well organized shelves, allows them to have a pleasurable book shopping experience.  Everyone hates dirty and unorganized used book stores.  Customers usually know what they want, and here at Book Lovers, they never have to work their way around a bunch of books stacked on the floor in front of the shelves.  It is just simply unacceptable. Our customers don't need to trip over junk or feel crowded with book shelves crammed too close together.  There will never be a book on the floor, that is our guarantee to you.  If you ever feel there is a problem, we will fix it immediatley.

 

But be aware, just as you become comfortable in one of our chairs throughout our store, reading a good book,one of our store cats, Sugar or Sweetie, might just sneak a nap on your lap.  Be gentle with them as they run the store, we just rent from them.
